Computer Lab

One of the best investments we made nine years ago, was to start a computer lab where now over 200 students have two hours of instruction per week.  Students from third grade begin with computer basics and the mastering of the keyboard with all ten fingers.  As they progressed, we have students from seventh and eighth grade mastering Power Point, Word and Excel.

The Bolivian Children's Fund provides all the funds for this program, from instruction, materials, maintenance and upgrade of the computers.

Students taking the covers off of the computers before they start.  There is so much dust around that the mothers made the covers to protect the computers.

We are delighted to have two graduate professors in computer science teaching at the school who assure us a very good instruction.

Mario, another of the instructors, at his desk monitoring internet use and following the students' progress.

Carlos, an eighth grade student, reviewing his Power Point presentation for the class.

Juan Maria, another eighth grader, doing final corrections to his Power Point presentation on mammals.

I was there to observe the progress of these students and I felt so grateful for all of your help that makes this project so valuable to benefit all of the students.  Thank you!
